I think jellyfish are simultaneously the more beautiful, and the creepiest creatures in the sea.

As you may have noticed, my blog now has a portfolio section.
I will be using it to post a sample of my work.

This section will be used for posts about activities, thoughts, works in progress, drawings and other pieces that do not fit into my portfolio, such as the illustration above which is called “Sing”.

Over the years many of my friends have shared quotes with me that define their personal philosphies.

While I have yet to find anything that I would want to tattoo on my skin, I have recently learned of the ideals of Epicurus, an ancient Greek philosopher who founded the school of Epicueanism. He advocated a life of pleasure through the absence of suffering and had many wise words to share.

I post a few of them here:

“Death does not concern us, because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist.”

“Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.”

“It is better for you to be free of fear lying upon a pallet, than to have a golden couch and a rich table and be full of trouble.”

“It is folly for a man to pray to the gods for that which he has the power to obtain by himself.”

“Not what we have But what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance.”

“Nothing is enough for the man to whom enough is too little.”

“The greater the difficulty, the more the glory in surmounting it.”

It looks cold outside.
Wish I didn’t have to walk.
I forgot my gloves.

Is it wrong that I’m somewhat disappointed that wordpress doesn’t automatically offer a small caps option for am/pm when selecting your time format?
